Join us for a hands-on herbal tonic class! This workshop will be educational, immersive, and fun!
We will explore the folk traditions of crafting our own herbal concoctions and then make The Cat & The Crow’s much beloved Tennessee Valley Spring Tonic recipe together, incorporating wild and medicinal plants that grow right here in our slice of Appalachia.
Part of the workshop will be a plant walk outside the shop where we will discuss and identify several wild weeds that will be in our recipe and are easy to wildcraft in our region.
Each participant will get to take a tonic home with them to help support and nourish their bodies throughout the Spring season.
Presenter: Heather Holloway, Plant Person Heather is the owner of The Cat & The Crow Apothecary and founder of the Wild Weeds Tea Party series of virtual herbal gatherings.
She is an avid gardener, earth lover, and Community Herbalist with a focus on Southern folk medicine and traditions. Based out of Ringgold, GA, she is enthusiastic about sharing her love of plants and the wisdom that they hold, as well as helping connect others with the magic and deep soul medicine of nature through small workshops, plant walks, home & land blessings, and private ceremonies.
